Immortal IV
Rules were broken. Now the price must be paid. “The New World awoke to a roaring wind, light blazed from the mirror—swallowing the planet—a churning, savage vortex. Tundra's inhabitants cried out, as their flesh bled from their bones like wet clay. The world shuddered. And was still.” The Immortals broke the rules. As punishment, Karla and Joseph are transported to a steam powered realm. Tehotep is now ruler of the empire. Karla is his concubine. Vampires roam the streets. Androids enforce a demon's will. And there is no way out. Except death... Cover art and design by Quinton Veal. Preview or purchase at author's personal [link text]site

Immortal II
"It is the year of our one, 2587 ... in the great city-state of Topaz. Karla and Joseph escape from the soulless Tehotep through a mystic wormhole summoned by the Guardian Opal, and find themselves 400 years in the past. It is The Time of Legend. Immortal II is a whirlwind of mysticism, intrigue, and horror. Its characters are deep and palatable. Its landscapes are beautiful and tragic. Valjeanne Jeffers is a master at weaving a tale that combines eroticism, metaphysics, and hard science fiction in a way that is natural and addictive. No other piece reads like the Immortal series. The experiencer is transported to a place where one forgets that they are reading - but instead finds themselves living the characters; breathing in step with each passing page..." Immortal
Book Review Reviewed by Anne B. for ReadersFavorite.com Our story began in a small village in 1157. Three strangers stepped out of a portal (Animat channel) on a mission. The town’s people hide in fear, only a dog and an old priest approached them. They were searching for the dark fog and the white mist. The priest warned them to stay away from the fog and mist; bad things happen to those enveloped by the fog. Two of the men had experienced the dark fog previously, but the Supreme Master had not. He doubted the words of the priest. The fog surrounded him and tried to draw him deeply in. If it were not for his companions, The Supreme Ruler would not have had the will to survive. The mist came next. It was very different from the fog but just as mystical. They heard a baby cry from within the mist. The Supreme Ruler himself carried the child to the Animat Channel. So begins Immortal. Magna Kruger presents readers with a mystical tale filled with suspense, magic and the supernatural. The story centers around two families: the Pendragons and Darcanians. We journey with young Aidan to The Village of Shamrock, a medieval town untouched by time, the home of the Academy for the Spiritually Gifted. We stand by Aidan’s side as he learns to master the four elements. Kruger skillfully created a mystical world. The world she created is certainly beyond anything I could ever imagine. The school for the Spiritually Gifted is fascinating. The characters are well developed and multidimensional. I suspect Aidan could become as popular as Harry Potter. I can hardly wait for the next installment of this series.
