[A collection of seven treatises on logic, namely : (1) Risālah i ṣughra, an abridgment of the following ; (2) Risālah i kubra, a manual of logic in Persian, by Sayyid Sharīf al-Jurjānī ; (3) al-Īsāghūjī, an introduction to logic in Arabic, by Athīr al-Dīn al-Abharī, accompanied on the margin by a Persian commentary entitled Mirʾāt al-manṭiq, by Mīr Ḥasan ; (4) Mukhtaṣar al-mīzān, an anonymous compendium of logic, accompanied on the margin by a series of definitions of philosophical terms entitled Taʿrīf al-ashyā’, and followed by a tract on the fourth figure of the syllogism by Muḥammad ʿAlī Dak-hanī, all in Arabic ; (5) Mīzān al-manṭiq, a compendium of logic in Arabic, abridged from Najm al-Dīn al-Kātibī's treatise entitled al-Shamsīyah, accompanied on the margin by a commentary in the same language, abridged from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ilāh-dād's work entitled Badīʿ al-mīzān ; (6) al-Jawāhir al-muḍīyah, an Arabic commentary on ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq Dihlavī's compendium of logic entitled al-Durrah al-bahīyah, by Maqbūl Aḥmad, accompanied on the margin by a short exposition of the ten categories, in Arabic, entitled al-Maqūlāt al-ʿasharah ; (7) the first part of Saʿd al-Dīn al-Taftāzānī's Tahdhīb al-manṭiq wa-al-kalām, treating of logic, accompanied on the margin by an anonymous Persian commentary, and followed by a tabulation of the four figures of the syllogism.].
