Majmūʿat i manṭiq

[A collection of eight treatises on logic, namely : (1) Risālah i kubrá, a manual of logic in Persian, Sayyid Sharīf al-Jurjānī ; (2) Risālah i ṣughrá, an abridgment of the preceding ; (3) al-Īsāghūjī, an introduction to logic in Arabic, by Athīr al-Dīn al-Abharī, accompanied on the margin by a Persian commentary entitled Mir'āt al-manṭiq, by Mīr Ḥasan ; (4) Qāl aqūl, an Arabic commentary on the Īsāghūjī, by Ḥusām al-Dīn al-Kātī, with marginal glosses ; (5) Mukhtaṣar al-mīzān, an anonymous compendium of logic, accompanied on the margin by a series of definitions of philosophical terms entitled entitled Ta‘rīf al-ashyā, and followed by a tract on the fourth figure of the syllogism by Muḥammad ‘Alī Dak'hanī, all in Arabic ; (6) Mīzān al-manṭiq, a compendium of logic in Arabic, abridged from Najm al-Dīn al-Kātibī's treatise entitled al-Shamsīyah, accompanied on the margin by a commentary in the same language, abridged from ‘Abd Allāh ibn Ilāh-dād's work entitled Badī' al-mīzān ; (7) al-Jawāhir al-muḍīiyah, an Arabic commentary on ‘Abd al-Ḥaqq Dihlavī's compendium of logic entitled al-Durrah al-bahīyah , by Maqbūl Aḥmad, accompanied on the margin by a short exposition of the ten categories, in Arabic, entitled al-Maqūlāt al-‘asharah ; (8) the first part of Sa‘d al-Dīn al-Taftāzānī's Tahdhīb al-manṭiq wa-al-kalām, treating of logic, accompanied on the margin by an anonymous Persian commentary, and followed by a tabulation of the four figures of the syllogism.].
