Halder, Franz

The war diary of General Franz Halder is one of the richest and most significant documents for the history of WWII. As the German Army Chief of Staff his position was one of extensive responsibility: organizing and controlling the highest army headquarters, advising the army commander in chief, and then executing the military decisions.
