Anondra "Kat" Williams is a writer, poet, radio host, and an all-around lover of words. She made her literary debut in 2011 with "black girl love", a collection of short stories and poetry that beautifully captures the everyday love and lives of women who love women. Since then, she has authored five more books, with her latest,"Small Town Moons", bringing Black lesbian werewolves to the forefront of speculative fiction. Beyond writing, Kat has been a powerful voice in the community. As the host of Sipping On Ink, she provided a platform for artists and writers to share their stories and creative journeys. In 2009, she founded Shades Retreat: Personal, You, an empowerment, growth, and change retreat for queer women of color that thrived for a decade.
