The Demon King crossed over to our world looking for something. What he found was me. Apparently I possess part of the Demon King’s lost power and now he wants it back. He’s willing to do anything for it...including seducing me. The entire world wants a piece of Wrath and I’m the one who gets him every night in my bed. I shouldn’t want him as badly as I do but being around him is...consuming. And I think he feels it too. As much as the Demon King wants to pretend it’s only about power, I’ve seen the way he looks at me. When we’re in the same room together, every glance is sharp enough to cut, every touch hot enough to burn. But when a secret from my past is revealed, it throws everything into question once again. Now Wrath is looking at me like I’m the enemy, and the Demon King will destroy everything in his path in order to get what he wants. If he wants a fight, he’s going to get one. Because this stolen power I possess? Now I know how to use it.

I betrayed the Demon King and now I’m paying the price. I’ve been locked in the Demon King’s castle for weeks. He promised me I’d suffer and now I am. But when he shows up in my cell, a little drunk and still angry, he ends my punishment in the most wicked of ways. But in the daylight, we still have our problems to face. I summoned Wrath’s brother to our world thinking he was going to help me. But Chaos wants one thing: the Demon King’s power, a power that I possess. Everyone wants to use me to destroy the Demon King, but Wrath and I have always had a push-pull relationship and now I’m worried that if we can’t find common ground, our enemies will be the least of our worries. We might just destroy ourselves. With an ancient power and a throne at stake, we have to set aside our differences or it might be the world that goes up in flames.

I seem to be the only person alive who can withstand his commands. But I’m just a girl trying to get her life together. The last thing I need is a demon king hunting me down for reasons unknown. Whatever it is he’s looking for, I definitely don’t have it. But when the world decides the Demon King must be defeated at all cost and that I’m the best way to get to him, I’m forced to accept his protection and hide out in his castle. Immortal, invincible, and extremely arrogant, living with the Demon King is no walk in the park. And yes, the internet memes and fan clubs aren’t wrong – he is extremely gorgeous. But he’s a villain to end all villains. There’s no way I’m falling for him. Except, when he uses his shadow powers on me in new, creative ways, I do fall – right into his bed. By day, we hate each other, but by night…that hate turns to something hotter. But the closer we get, the more my life seems to unravel. Because that thing the Demon King lost? Turns out I do know a thing or two about it. And he’ll stop at nothing to get it back.
