Ultimate Sega Game Strategies, for the Master and Genesis Systems

This is a hints, tips, reviews, and strategy guide to Sega games. This book was released for a total of 4 Editions, each slightly different. The first version covered the Sega Master System, {SMS}, and the Sega Genesis/Sega Mega Drive {SG/SMD} consoles, it had 58 games reviewed with gray-scale screenshots. The second edition removed the 'Master System' game reviews, and instead there are new reviews for SG/SMD, and the Sega Game Gear {SGG}, and later in the '94 Edition, the Sega CD {SCD} games. The second, titled "Official Sega Genesis & Game Gear Strategies", ISBN: 0553354841 and following books had a completily different title. For each game, the book originally had a statistics style overview; 'Category {Genre}, Graphics, {Controller} Response, Sound, Fun, and a over all score. There were secions with "Who", "What?", "Using the Control Pad", "Starting the Game", "Number of Levels", "Number of Lives", "Scoring", "Option Screen", and other such things along with "Secrets of the Pros". There are various other related sections, with strategies, tips, passwords, cheat codes and the like. The first book originally sold for $9.95 in the USA, and $12.95 in Canada, and was released in a trade paperback size book. The final edition the "'94 Edition was released in a mass-market paperback version, at a price of $6.99. Besides the various editions of this book, other books were released in this video game series by Bantam Books.
