The Ranch of the Four Winds

In the title story of this Western Trio, the Ranch of the Four Winds, owned by Sir John Moss, promotes peace and justice in the wild country surrounding it. Outlaws and lawmen alike come to visit and hang their weapons on pegs whilst there. The ranch is a haven; watched and protected by the Hopi Indians who inhabit the area. But there is a mystery about John Moss, whose family coat of arms bears the Bar Sinister. It is what this represents that drives Moss to solve the enigma of his father's death in Canada, where he had once gone as an agent of the Crown, only to be outlawed and accused of murder.
