Ruairí Ó Bléine

Author of: -Belfast:100Years of Public Health (1988 -Presbyterians and the Irish Language (1996) -Nótaí ón Lia (1999) Born in Lurgan, Co. Armagh. Educated: Lurgan, St Patrick's College, Armagh, Queen's University of Belfast. Held a number of hospital posts, including research medical officer in Guy's Hospital, London (1961-1964). . Senior Lecturer in Social and Preventive in Queen's University from 1968-1988. Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Queen's before took early retirement.

Description

This is the first book in Irish to give a clear straightforward account of a selection of various diseases and medical conditions. An appeal is made to produce a complete disease encylopedia based on this model. Doctors, nurses, health workers in Ireland would welcome this kind of material.
