Discovering who you are

This booklet is written for those who want to know more about the expression of gender, and especially for those who have questions about their own gender. The casual reader will be left with an appreciation of the distinction between sex and gender and an understanding of the multitude of ways in which individuals can express their gender and their sexuality. Those who are troubled about their gender will be able to explore their feelings and come to a better understanding of themselves. If you are unfamiliar with the terminology, you might want to start by referring to the glossary, which can be found towards the back of this publication.
