Su meta entonces, como ahora, fue la de servir a estudiantes de ciencias no fisicas mediante una cobertura practica que se conecte de una manera vivida con su mundo. Llegamos a la decima edicion, la mas comprensible de todas. Es flexible para evolucionar igual que las tendencias cambiantes, pero mantiene sus objetivos originales. El texto permanece fiel a su pedagogia y caracteristicas.
