Prezentul volum de introducere în dogmatică cercetează dogma ca atare, cu privire la sensul, înţelesul şi necesitatea ei pentru viaţa de credinţă. Elementele constitutive ale dogmei sunt urmărite în revelaţie, scriptură, tradiţie, magisteriu şi istorie, reflectându-se asupra misiunii teologiei ca învăţătură şi ştiinţă a credinţei.
