Description
Larry Chambers, born in Santa Paula, California, holds Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees from the University of Utah and graduated as a Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society member. Chambers has studied psychology, mythology, linguistics, investments at the New York Institute of Finance. He also has a degree in Sociology and has studied Creative Writing at the Iowa’s Writers Conference and Screenwriting at UCLA. Chambers went to Vietnam in 1968 and did two tours. He is the recipient of numerous combat medals and his first book, Recondo – LRRPs in the 101st Airborne, is one of a collection of books made mandatory reading for U.S. Army Rangers. He was a stockbroker at the Wall Street firm, EF Hutton & Co., a vice president, Blue Chip producer and member of the Million Dollar Club. Chambers is a best-selling author, an active member in the Phnom Penh Rotary Club, an award-winning artist, and owner of the Royal Kingdom Publishing Company. He now lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Chambers is an advisory board member for the Journal of Retirement Planning; Associate Editor for the Journal of Investing; Business and Economics columnist for the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Forum; a contributing editor for Investment Advisor magazine; Wealth Manager; contributing writer for Financial Planning, On Wall Street, Registered Representative; and on the editorial advisory board for Pension World magazine.
