Jacqueline Ashley Casto spent her first nineteen years in Oklahoma, USA and has lived in several places since then, including Hawaii, California, and Washington, D.C. Her love of romance novels eventually led to a career as writer. She wrote under the pennames of Jackie Black, Jacqueline Ashley and Jackie Casto from 1982 to 1992.
