Death in the pot
The Federal Council of the Churches of Christ in America was formed in 1908. It now has a constituency of twenty-four denominations, the combined membership of which is about twenty-six millions. Although the Federal Council does represent a great constituency of church members, the number of those who consciously accept its infidelity to the cardinal doctrines of the Church or its radical social and political program is very much smaller than the above figures would indicate. The Federal Council does not represent the evangelicals of America and could not represent them unless a revolutionary change in its setup should occur. That is not likely to happen. Its present character is too well established to admit changes which would make it acceptable to those of evangelical faith. - Page 3.
