Description

Chiyo Araki (荒木 千代) is an origami artist. She taught for over ten years the children of U.S. military personnel at an air base near Tokyo. The success which she had in showing children how to express their creative and imaginative skills through origami lead her to recommend that paper-folding be made a part of the elementary school curriculum all over the world.
