Mr. Huegel spent more than a quarter of a century as a missionary in Mexico, during which time he also became widely recognized for his deeply discerning works on the deeper life, with several of his books becoming well known on both sides of the Atlantic, in the United States and in Great Britain. During World War I he was a chaplain and after devoted much time to prison evangelism. He was active during his retirement teaching for many years at Union Seminary in Mexico City. Among the popular books he has authored are: Prayer's Deeper Secrets, Bone of His Bone, Forever Triumphant, etc.
