He was a newspaper columnist for twelve years before becoming an award winning 'Playwright' with four successful dramas performed on stage. Winner of "New Writer of Year" in 1991 by United Press and a Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay. The "Return of the Despicable People of South Wheeling" was voted the best fiction of the year.
