I want it all
Warren Miller, watching some men prepare to beat up a "Queer" in the alley behind a cow-country bar, discovers desires within himself he had never suspected.
All is well
Poverty-stricken and low on hope, a divorced mother and her daughter prop up their sagging spirits and keep the flames of faith alive by clinging to a phrase first heard on a previous Christmas, "All is well."
All Together
I WANT IT ALL started out as a Gay Pulp, written for Frenchy's Gay Line in 1969. It introduces Warren Miller, a young man, working as a cowboy in Colorado, exploring his sexuality in a changing world. The sequel, ALL THE WAY, follows the story of Bill Thorne, Warren Miller's best friend, as he struggles to deal with his self-image as a "real" man, and reconcile that with his feelings for other men. The third and final part of the trilogy, ALL IS WELL, picks up the story of Bill Thorne's brother, Robert, who raped Bill as a teenager, bringing all of the major characters back together for a truly climactic and thrilling ending.
