Description
Andrea has been gaming since he was 13 (when he designed his first boardgame and inflicted it on unuspecting friends - twice. Then everybody moved to play Red Box D&D and Rogue Trader WH40K). He has contributed to various gaming magazines including Steve Jackson’s Roleplayer and Pyramid and Nexus Games’ Kaos. For Nexus he designed the RPG “Inferno” in the early 90s, based on the French RPG system “Simulacres”. Andrea lives in Italy, with a writer’s mandatory allotment of cats and thousands of miniatures in an amazing variety of scales, status of pigmentation and genre. Dungeon Atlas
This is a short collection of 21 pre-drawn dungeons for [Four Against Darkness](/works/OL27685311W/) and for other dungeon-exploration games. Each dungeon comes with a map of numbered rooms on the left page and a corresponding form on the right page that you fill in as you progress through the maze. You may photocopy or print out the dungeons and reuse them as many times as you want. This is not a stand alone game. This play aid requires the Four Against Darkness core rulebook, or another gaming system of your choice.
Four Against the Abyss
When standard dungeons do not pose much of a challenge anymore, your experienced heroes may want to go deeper, looking for greater rewards. Once all of your characters reach 5th level, you will want to start using this book!
Twisted Dungeons
Never venture in the same old dungeon again. Twisted Dungeons is a supplement for Four Against Darkness, suited for all levels of play, that will change your dungeons forever. It’s easy to use: just roll d88 (two eight-sided dice) as the adventure starts, and read the corresponding numbered entry. The book will inject unpredictable events and themes into your dungeon exploration: 64 dungeon complications, ranging from mosquito infestation to teleporting mirrors, from slippery tunnels carved out of ice to chambers with magic-enhancing properties. Most complications will come with interesting rewards, in experience or loot. Twisted Dungeons may be used alongside its companion volume, Twisted Minions, to create even more random variations.
