Grace Loucks was born on February 19th, 1891 in Alverton, Pennsylvania. Grace went to Findlay college in Ohio and graduated in 1912. Grace married Harrison S. Elliott on June 24th, 1927. Grace worked at the YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association) from the age of 19 till her retirement in 1953. In this period of time, she gave birth to three children, David Loucks, Donald Harrison, and Margaret Jean. She also wrote 16 pamphlets throughout her life, and published 5 books. Grace traveled extensively during her life and career, attending conferences all over the world.
