Women's work

This anthology offers virtually the entire collection of literature by American women and is by far the widest ranging and most diverse. Arranged chronologically, it includes a broad range of selections including fiction, poetry, essays, diaries, letters, autobiographies, oratory, and journalism, spanning the colonial days to the present. These writers represent women's writing at its highest level of accomplishment.
