This splendid earth

It's 1830 Paris, and Jean (Baron de Brussac) has just wed the pretty, but young and rebellious Anne de Grenville. Even at her own wedding dance, she is unable to be neither faithful, nor adult-like. She sneaks off for a rendezvous with her handsome guardsman, which was most displeasing for a new and viral husband. This historical romance, spanning 3 generations, travels from the wineries of the French countryside, across the big pool to the American South West coastline, and the wine country of California.
