Lord Roxbrough had taken charge of young Easter Hazeltyne's life and he decreed she was to be presented in town. He watched her carefully, lest she commit some indiscretion. He had been hurt by love, and now she must be protected from it. But Easter had found a man to love, a wild, undisciplined, romantic man.
