The mission of Jeffery Tolamy.

A novel of a mission to Hawaii in 1816, and the Russian adventure there. Jeffery Tolamy sailed into Honolulu where he expected to deliver a ship's hold of muskets from the United States to the British stationed there. Instead he found Russians. In the months that followed, he learned that it is one thing to believe yourself in love with a proper Philadelphia heiress, and another to hide out in caves with a girl like Susan. He fought the Russian conspiracy with whatever means were at hand as the Russians attempted to capture Hawaii in the great days of King Kamehameha I.
