The Journey of Johnny Rew

Young Johnny is a thirteen-year-old who has been brought up in London by the Darleys. But there has always been a mystery about who Johnny's parents were, and one day when a clue to his real identity comes his way, Johnny takes his chance, packs a haversack and sets off on foot for the west of England. Along the way he encounters engaging characters he meets and has exciting adventures.
