The headhunter's daughter

In 1945, an infant inadvertently left to die in the jungle of the Belgian Congo is discovered by a young Bashilele tribesman who brings her to his tribe and raises her as his own; thirteen years later when missionary Amanda Brown hears stories, she hopes to bring the girl back to "civilization."
