The Androids Are Coming

Different top notch authors of their time wrote individual stories, all were about androids - humans made synthetically. Most are gloomy or very sad. The gap in projected technology is rather huge compared to what we know now. All of the author's knew their business, though, and the subject was professionally handled by all of them.
