Description

This book is a fairly detailed description and analysis of the crash, on 5 October 1930, of the British R101 airship on its maiden voyage to India, and the subsequent events and Inquiries. However, it focuses on a famous contemporary medium called Eileen Garret who, two days after the crash, was apparently in psychic contact with Lt H. C. Irwin, who died in the crash. Through Garret, Irwin was able to reveal technical details about the crash which were, apparently, beyond her personal knowledge and most of which was not in the public domain. Michael Prescott said "Collectively, the transcripts [of the seances] contain some of the most compelling evidence ever assembled for communication with the dead."
