During his probationary period he discovers that someone is building a battleship disguised as an industrial vessel. Since no one in the peaceful League has battleships any more, this one’s builder would be unstoppable. DiGriz's hunt for the guilty becomes a battle between himself and the beautiful but deadly Angelina. 1. The Stainless Steel Rat's Revenge DiGriz and Angelina are now happily married. Meanwhile, the planet Cliaand is waging interstellar war and, against the odds, is conquering one planet after another. DiGriz is sent to Cliaand to start to put a stop to the plans of the planet's leader, Kraj. 3. The Stainless Steel Rat Saves the World The villainous He has traveled back in time to humankind's distant past on the legendary planet “Dirt” (i.e., Earth), where he is altering events so that people who opposed him in the diGirz’s present cease to exist. DiGriz must travel back in time to fix the past and save the present.
