Somers v Somers

Paul Somers is the popular face of his political party after a surprise victory leads him to congress. His wife Diane was his unseen campaign manager. They both know that next time it will be no easy victory - last time the votes were so close a recount was needed - so Diane is already getting ready to win the next election for her husband. Then rumours start flying that Paul has been seen dining out with the opposition. He arrives home on their tenth wedding anniversary to announce not only is he defecting to the other side, but he is also divorcing her. Diane's whole life is connected to him and she can't imagine how she will cope. And, only concerned with dividing their shared property, Paul doesn't realise what an effect his decision will have on his political future. Diane is stronger opposition than he would ever have imagined and she will fight against him till the bitter end
