Slow and sure, or, From the street to the shop

Now the proud owner of a necktie stand in 1870's New York City, fifteen-year-old Paul Hoffman offers dinner to Julius, a hungry street child, who in turn offers information about a planned robbery of the home where Paul is the caretaker.
