Severed trust

The day a high school student is found unresponsive in class, teacher Sadie Thompson realizes how entrenched a prescription drug ring is in her school. She becomes involved with Ethan Stone, a Texas Ranger who suspects the drug ring reaches far beyond the high school. When one student dies from the apparent mixing of various prescription drugs-- an apparent suicide-- they find themselves in a desperate race to stop the abuse.
