This romantic comedy follows the adventures of Lizzie as she heads for Hollywood stardom, only to find herself sharing a cockroach-infested house in Venice Beach, working as a waitress in a notorious transvestite bar and pretending to be the fiancee of a film director who just happens to be gay.
