Red Cloud's folk

History of the Oglalas westward drive along a thousand miles of prairie and woodland, from the upper reaches of the Mississippi to the lower Powder River in Montana, one of the epic migrations of history. Red Cloud stood out as one of the greatest of the Sioux leaders, his famous oration at the Cooper Union in 1870 is celebrated.
