Pohadka Leta (A Sumer Tale) was composed at a particularly dark time in the composer's life, just after the death of both his wife and father in law - the composer Antonin Dvorak. A remarkable work, with many shfting moods and brilliant orchestration, ending with a wistful nocturne.
