McKenney & Hall's History of the Indian tribes of North America

Contains all 120 images and text from the 1838-1844 edition of "History of the Indian Tribes of North America," by Thomas Loraine McKenney and James Hall, plus one image not included in the original edition. Four additional images from the quarto edition of 1848-1850 are also provided. Thumbnail images of the lithographic portraits are offered in four different resolutions. The images are presented along with an associated database of records, and are also pinpointed on a map that corresponds to the site(s) of the image.
