Madam Satan

“Good evening, gentlemen. Welcome to Hell! I am Madam Satan.” The gentlemen in the ante room had no idea who the mysterious woman was, but for Katharine Walcotte it had all started several years before. It all stemmed from her belief that a woman should have some say in her marriage, and her determination not to be what she didn't want to be. Katharine had resolved to use her wits to make her own way in the Georgian society which had no place for a woman with a will of her own.
