Loyalist spy

Meyers, born in New York, served as a Loyalist spy, operating under the British Northern Department headquartered in Canada. Meyers' service was as a courier for the British between Canada and New York City. Meyers achieved fame for his attempt to kidnap the American General Philip Schuyler.
