This was a beautifully illustrated journey through the most fashionable and exciting spots in wartime London. All of the characters were invariably exquisitely glamorous without any trace of wartime stress but simply at ease in the manner to which they were obviously accustomed. The women were the always at the peak of fashion to the point of trend setting. Quaglino's may never have looked the same.
