This volume contains the principal articles by the late Benjamin Breckinridge Warfield having to do with the nature and authority of the Bible. A distinctly biblical theologian, fully abreast of the critical scholarship of the day, and a foe of irrationalism in all its forms -- faith for him was conviction grounded on evidence -- it is not surprising that he devoted such exceptional attention to this theme.
