"You've been well paid for the bargain." The deep voice over the phone made no sense at all until Reggie's sister Bella hastened to explain the immensity of the problem. It seemed that Bella had agreed to act as Severo Cardenosa's fiancee, but then had to run out on him. So, to help her sister, soft-hearted Reggie went to Uruguay to the despicable Severo. Once there, however, Reggie learned that Severo meant to carry the charade to its bitter conclusion--meaning marriage! How on earth would she get out of this mess?
