In the land of winter

A tale of witch hunting in present-day New England. The heroine is Pippa Rede, a single mother accused of Satanism by the local newspaper, and on the basis of the story the city takes away her daughter. Fortunately there is Spear, an Indian law-school dropout who is ready to help.
