Description
Portrait of a woman in love Ella's autocratic father had insisted she have her portrait painted; it was a family tradition. And, over Ella's protests, he'd even commissioned an artist to do it--Zoltan Fazekas, renowned Hungarian painter of landscapes and portraits. Ella finally, reluctantly, agreed, although it meant she had to go to him in Budapest. But when she arrived, she soon discovered that he wasn't the kind of man she'd expected at all! Zoltan was brilliant, handsome, compelling--so it was hardly surprising that Ella started to fall in love with him. Unfortunately, Zoltan didn't return her feelings. It seemed that all he wanted to see was her surface beauty, not the passionate, loving woman beneath....
