Camilla’s mother had been a world famous ballerina, and Camilla herself showed every sign of having inherited all her brilliance. So when she became involved with what her guardian considered a most unsuitable young man, he whisked her into a ballet school in the hope that a distinguished dancing career would make her forget him. In this he soon succeeded - but it was not her dancing, but her ballet mistress’s attractive nephew Vivian Sheppey who speedily drove all thought of Colin out of Camille’s head.
