A strange assignment took Lynn to the pink chateau in the Pyrenees... and brought her to a sinister link with the past. To Lynne, the job seems a golden opportunity - nurse to an elderly invalid at a beautiful chateau high in the Pyrenees. But Mme Eugenie de Selincourt turns out to be a remarkably fit old lady, and Lynn discovers that she has nothing to do but join in the life of the idle rich. Why, then, is a trained nurse required? Everyone, or almost everyone, is charming to her, and the handsome Marcel becomes her very willing escort.
