Even doctors weep

Joanna has been let down in love, and so has Simon Rivers — yet until the night he asks her to marry him, she has never thought of him as anything but her boss, an autocratic but efficient consultant at St. Paul’s General Hospital. His ‘rational’ plan to marry her, and take her to Tanzania to forget their heartbreak, seems ridiculous.
