Robert Paul "Tad" Williams (born March 14, 1957 in San Jose, California) is an American fantasy author based in California. His works, which span epic fantasy, science fiction, urban fantasy, comics, and scripts, have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide and significantly influenced a generation of writers. Williams is known for his genre-defining and genre-blending contributions to literature, including his breakthrough novel [Tailchaser's Song], the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series, the Otherland series, and [The War of the Flowers]. :

Description

The not so distant future where everybody has a second life in cyberspace. A growing sub-culture of cyberfolk and cyberpunks who are spending less and less time in the physical world, and ever increasing time 'plugged in'. But there is trouble brewing. Someone or something is trapping users 'online'. A rag-tag assortment of elite cybercitizens band together to stop the invasion.
