Chico of Guatemala

Describes life in Guatemala through a story illustrated with photographs. Ten-year-old Chico sees volcanic ash send his family to seek work and a home in another village, but they finally return to their beloved mountain home to find that the fertilizer contained in the ash had been a blessing in disguise.
