They were lucky to be alive! But to Crystal Selwyn, a tax auditor on her way to the Queen Charlotte Islands, trekking out of the wilderness with Jesse Campbell was not her idea of normal travel. Jesse was adamant that the search-and-rescue people probably wouldn't be able to spot them - and it was their only chance of survival. Trusting herself to Jesse's safe hands was the only alternative. Strangely though, in doing so, Crystal found the strength finally to face her past and commit herself to the future.
